Laurenţia Andreea Paraschiv is a coloratura soprano from Romania, based in Vienna.

    Ms. Paraschiv won the 1st Prize in the “Dinu Lipatti    Competition” in Romania, after which she was engaged as a soloist at the “Comic Opera for Children Bucharest”, embodying a variety of roles. She won the 1st Prize in the “International BTHVN Wien Competition” 2023, in Vienna, Austria.

  Further highlights include engagements as a soloist with the acclaimed conductor Ciprian Teodoraşcu and the “Valahia Orchestra”, appearances at the “Opera-mania Bucharest Festival”, the “Mozart and Strauss Concert in Giurgiu”, the “Vasile Moldoveanu Gala Concert” at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, the “George Enescu and World Music Festival – Romania Tour”, the “Chei Festival Bucharest”, the “ISA Concert in Vienna”, as well as performances at the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn Vienna, the Romanian Embassy in Vienna, the Lublin Philharmonic in Poland, the Roter Salon Vienna, the Ehrbar Saal Vienna, and the Europaballett – Sankt Pölten in the Wunschkonzert with Wolfgang Gratschmaier. She also made her debut as Adele in ”Die Fledermaus” by J. Strauss at the Europaballett in Sankt Pölten.

She graduated with a Master Degree in Opera at the “National University of Music Bucharest” and completed her studies at the renowned “Vienna International Summer Academy”- The University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Ms. Paraschiv is a member of the Wiener Zentrum für Gesang.
